A tale of two skirts 💃🎨 Two portraits. Two centuries. Two VERY different approaches to showing a little leg. Coco investigates Major James Fraser by John Vanderbank and Divinity Fudge by Catherine Opie at @nationalgalleriesofscotland. For her exhibition 'To Be Seen', Catherine Opie worked with curators to put her contemporary portraits in conversation with historic masterpieces. And the results are FABULOUS. 💋 Who's serving the better look? James or Divinity? Tell me below! 👇 ✨ Catch 'Catherine Opie: To Be Seen' at National Galleries Scotland: Portrait in Edinburgh while you can. #arthistory #comedyuk #visitscotland #flintstones #photooftheday

Absolutely fabulous! What a joy to meet the legendary Joanna Lumley at @aldeburghcomedyfestival this weekend. ❤️ I grew up watching Absolutely Fabulous with my OBSESSED mum, so meeting the woman behind Patsy Stone was really special! I was watching Joanna talking about her favourite films in ‘Desert Island Flicks’ in Aldeburgh Cinema when suddenly there was a total power cut. Joanna didn’t miss a beat. She stood up, came to the front of the stage and carried on talking to the audience in the dark. ‘This is very entertaining,’ she quipped. This lady just kept the show going. I was struck by her instinctive generosity to give, give, give and her total class. A true British icon and such a kind-hearted human being. What a privilege to meet her! 📚 Joanna was also signing her new book, Joanna Lumley: My Book of Treasures, a collection of her favourite writings, available now from @aldeburghbookshop. #JoannaLumley #AbsolutelyFabulous #AldeburghComedyFestival #Britishcomedy
