🚩 PREDATOR RED FLAG “You know you can trust me.” Sounds reassuring, right? But notice what they’re doing. They’re telling you that you trust them instead of asking. It’s a leading statement that can make it easier to just agree instead of stopping to think: “Do I actually trust this person?” That “trust” can be used to: • Build rapport and make you feel special • Become your go-to person when you’re upset • Make themselves your “safe space” • Pull you away from people who might question them • Make you feel like you owe them trust 🚩 Real trust is earned. It isn’t something someone gets to tell you that you feel. If someone is trying to become the person you trust more than everyone else, pay attention. Block them. Report them. Tell a trusted adult. You never owe anyone your trust or access to you. #advice #teen #onlinesafety #trending #fyp

🚩 PREDATOR RED FLAG: “LET’S TALK ON SNAPCHAT.” Or: “Do you have Snapchat?” “Are you on Signal?” “Add me on Kik.” “Let’s take this somewhere more private.” 🚨 RED FLAG. A predator may try to move you away from the platform where you first met so they can get you somewhere they feel more comfortable controlling the conversation. Private messaging, disappearing messages, photo sharing, voice calls, video calls and other features can make it easier for them to build trust, push boundaries and pressure you for sexual content. The platform isn’t necessarily the problem. The person pushing you to move is. ❌ Don’t move to another platform because a stranger or someone sketchy tells you to. 🛑 BLOCK them. 🚩 REPORT them. 🗣️ TELL a trusted adult. If someone is trying to isolate you, that’s the red flag. #advice #teen #onlinesafety #trending #fyp

🚩 “IF YOU LOVED ME, YOU WOULD…” “If you loved me, you’d send me a picture.” “If you loved me, you’d prove it.” “If you really cared about me, you would do this.” Yeah… absolutely-f%#*&$!?-NOT!!! 🙄 Love is NOT a transaction. You do not owe someone an action to “prove” your feelings. A predator uses this line to: • Make you feel guilty • Pressure you into doing something you don’t want to do • Turn your feelings against you • Normalize crossing your boundaries That’s not love. That’s manipulation. 🚩 RED FLAG. You can & should say NO. You can & should block them. You can & should report them. And tell a trusted adult!! You don’t owe anyone anything! Someone who actually cares about you will respect your boundaries and require nothing of you in exchange for their care. Period. #advice #teen #onlinesafety #trending #fyp
