My heart is broken for the families and community of Bend following yesterday's horrific shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School. Three children and a teacher lost their lives. Others were injured, and countless families have been forever changed. There are no words that can make this tragedy right. But there are ways we can come together and help carry some of the burden. Here are several ways you can help right now: ❤️ Support the Summer family, who lost their precious 5-year-old son, Rhoam. A Meal Train has been organized to provide meals and financial assistance. https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/42e92m ❤️ Support Saylor Graham, a 7-year-old survivor facing a difficult recovery. Donations will help her family with medical expenses, travel, lodging, and lost income. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-saylor-grahams-recovery ❤️ Stand with Kaylub Giamanco, the father whose courageous actions helped stop the shooter. His family will also need support as they navigate the emotional aftermath of this tragedy. https://www.gofundme.com/f/stand-with-kaylub-supporting-a-father-who-p-x7jh5 If you're unable to donate, please share these links. Offer a meal, send a message of encouragement, or keep these families in your prayers. As a community, we may disagree about many things, but surely we can agree that no parent should have to send their child to school wondering whether they'll come home. Today, let's put our differences aside and show these families that they are not alone. Bend, Oregon stands with you. And so do I. ❤️ #BendStrong #OregonStrong #SilverRailElementary #CommunitySupport

Candidates should work for your vote before AND after Election Day. Earning your trust shouldn't stop once the ballots are counted. Public service means showing up, listening to your concerns, and being accountable for results. I'm running for Oregon House District 33 because I care deeply about Portland's future. I want to see our city thrive again, our neighborhoods safe, our businesses growing, and our families prospering. More importantly, I want to be your voice in Salem, representing your concerns and fighting for solutions that make a real difference in your everyday life. Portland Over Party. Results Over Politics. I'm Ciatta Thompson, and I'm asking for your vote on November 3. #PortlandOverParty #ResultsOverPolitics #PortlandOregon #OregonVotes #Election2026
