🩵 Here’s a pattern I’ve been experimenting with this week. It consists of two main triangles which are broken down into three smaller triangles. I mixed three shades of blue and incorporated one white. This piece is still in the greenware stage, slowly drying. The smudges will get cleaned up throughout the next steps of the process. 🤞🏼 I am anticipating a shop update next Thursday, May 1. Hopefully this will dry fast enough and survive until the end, so I can include it in the update. 🩵 #nerikomi #nerikomipottery #nerikomiceramics #testtiles #ceramicsofinstagram #pottery #madeincolorado #contemporaryceramics #ceramicartist #contemporarypottery #stainedclay #nerikomiclay #porcelainpottery #ceramicstudio #ceramics #functionalpottery #handbuiltceramics #potteryofinstagram #womeninceramics #functionalceramics #ceramicdesign #agateware #tableware #dinnerware #clay #instapottery #claylove #coloredclay
I was going through my work, adding it to the website, and the sunlight caught the cup just right and I realized this was a hidden message mug. I made this a few months ago and completely forgot that the bottom held a fun surprise. Made of porcelain and stained clay. You cannot see the message unless light hits it, like when taking the last sip on a sunny day. #nerikomi #nerikomipottery #nerikomiporcelain #nerikomiceramics #testtiles #ceramicsofinstagram #pottery #madeincolorado #contemporaryceramics #ceramicartist #contemporarypottery #stainedclay #nerikomiclay #porcelainpottery #ceramicstudio #ceramics #functionalpottery #handbuiltceramics #potteryofinstagram #womeninceramics #functionalceramics #ceramicdesign #agateware #tableware #dinnerware #clay #instapottery #claylove #coloredclay #coloredporcelain
This piece has been bisque fired and received its first round of sanding. I sand with multiple grits before allowing it to dry fully. Next I will glaze this and fire it one more time. #nerikomi #nerikomipottery #nerikomiporcelain #nerikomiceramics #testtiles #ceramicsofinstagram #pottery #madeincolorado #contemporaryceramics #ceramicartist #contemporarypottery #stainedclay #nerikomiclay #porcelainpottery #ceramicstudio #ceramics #functionalpottery #handbuiltceramics #potteryofinstagram #womeninceramics #functionalceramics #ceramicdesign #agateware #tableware #dinnerware #clay #instapottery #claylove #coloredclay #coloredporcelain
