Atlanta, you filled my cup. ❤️🖤💚 Anyone who knows me knows that one thing I’m always going to do when I travel is immerse myself in history—especially Black American history. For me, it’s never just sightseeing. It’s remembering. It’s honoring. It’s understanding. I truly believe that if you don’t know where you’ve come from, it’s much harder to understand where you’re going. Visiting the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and spending time at The King Center was emotionally overwhelming in the best way. I felt the weight of sacrifice, the power of resilience, and an overwhelming sense of pride. Every time I learn more about our history, I’m reminded that our story is one of brilliance, innovation, courage, perseverance, and love. And yes, I said Black people—not “people of color.” Our history, our culture, and our legacy deserve to be acknowledged in their own right. There is something incredibly powerful about understanding the shoulders we stand on. Atlanta, thank you for embracing me with your history, your culture, your hospitality, and let’s not forget… your food. 😂 Every moment reminded me why this city holds such a special place in the story of Black America. I leave inspired, grateful, and even more in love with who we are. I love you, Atlanta. And more than anything… I love us. 🖤 #fyp #explore #thingstodoinatlanta

There are some experiences that heal your inner child… and this was one of them. 💛 The Golden Girls experience by Bucket Listers in Atlanta was absolutely a bucket-list moment for me. As someone who grew up in the ’80s watching one of my all-time favorite shows, walking into a space inspired by the world of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia felt like stepping into a cherished memory. What I loved most was seeing just how timeless this show really is. The room was filled with people of every generation—young and old—laughing together over a series that has connected us for decades. From sitting in Blanche’s boudoir to hanging out in the kitchen where the girls shared so many unforgettable conversations, every room was filled with nostalgia. There was laughter, storytelling, a few happy tears… and of course, cheesecake. 🍰 The staff made the experience even more special with their warmth and enthusiasm, and I walked away having met so many wonderful new friends. Moments like these truly fill my cup and remind me that joy can be found in the simplest shared experiences. Thank you for being a friend. 💛 #fyp #explore #thingstodoinatlanta

🎉 GOAL WEIGHT REACHED — just in time for my friend’s wedding! 💃🏽 But since I’m sharing my Found journey openly, I also want to dispel a few myths about being on a GLP-1. A GLP-1 is not a free pass to eat whatever you want, ignore your nutrition, never move your body and expect the medication to magically do everything for you. At least that hasn’t been my approach. One of the biggest changes I’ve made during this journey has been changing my relationship with food. I pay attention to my calorie intake, but I’m also intentional about getting enough protein and actually fueling my body. Sometimes when people talk about feeling tired or having no energy while trying to lose weight, we also have to look at whether we’re actually giving our bodies enough of what they need. And yes… I WORK OUT. 😂 I try to get some form of activity in at least 5 days a week. Most days that looks like putting on my weighted vest, walking at least a mile on the treadmill, and doing a series of kettlebell exercises. The medication is a tool in my journey — not the entire journey. And baby… I’m HAPPY. 🙌🏽 My clothes are fitting differently, I feel better in them, and most importantly, I’m loving what I see when I look in the mirror. 🥰 If you’ve been considering getting serious about your own journey, visit joinfound.com and take the quiz to see what options may be appropriate for you. ✨ Use my code Mylanibychadowboxx120 to save up to $120 on your Found journey. #FoundPartner #FoundJourney #GLP1Journey #WeightLossJourney #FitnessOver40 @Join Found
