We talk a lot about building wealth, but we don't talk enough about what happens to that wealth when we're no longer around to manage it. For the past two years, we've partnered with Magana Flowers Kenya Limited to facilitate meaningful conversations around personal finance, financial resilience, and building a stronger financial future. This week, we held two sessions as part of a two-day series, on Tuesday and Friday, focused on a topic many people tend to avoid: #estateplanning and protecting what you've built. We went deep into: Wills, Guardianship, Letters of wishes, Joint account/ ownership & Business ownership We also tackled a few myths around Wills worth retiring: 🔹“I'm too young to have a will.” - If someone depends on you, you already have something worth protecting. 🔹“Estate planning is only for the wealthy.” It's not about how much you have. It's about being intentional with what you do have. 🔹“Planning about misfortunes brings bad luck.” Planning for the unexpected doesn't invite it. It prepares the people you love for it. And that's the same with estate planning. It's about making sure what matters and who matters is protected, no matter what happens. These are the conversations that wake us up to the reality, of wealth building journey. Protecting it, preserving it, and making sure it reaches the people and causes that matter to you is equally important. #Centonomy #MaganaFlowers #FinancialLiteracy #PersonalFinance
