PCA Review and Sight Tape print out With this reel, I did a quick review of our steps 1-3, that were outlined in the previous reels. From checking our bow to make sure the tune and timing is good, to shooting at distance with the Lab Radar/Garmin Xero, to getting our measurements needed at full draw-we are now ready to let the @precisioncutarchery program go to work! BORDERLINE from @bigtineofficial Planting day for some Borderline! This mix from BigTine, has easily become one of my favorite blends AND is definitely in my bag of tricks for Whitetails! What I love to do with Borderline is create “security” within a foodplot, or certain area. By creating some security and some division, within the given area, I can force deer to certain spots AND give them a sense of security all in one! (As well as hide my entry and exit) In this reel I break down, from start to finish, a recent Foundation Clover plot that I’ve added Borderline to. My reasons for doing are to force deer movement to favor one side of my foodplot and to hide my entry and exit routes into this plot. Local timbering changed the way my dominant winds and evening thermals carry. So, I’m creating a foodplot that now favors one area over the other, which keeps deer further away from my scent cone, leaving myself more undetected. I’ve also created a sense of security, inside this plot by adding cover, which will equate to more daylight buck activity! One thing to note in this reel- I explain “thatching” and why ive chosen this method over rolling in the, or dragging!
