the self-gaslighting struggle is real. But after subluxing my hip and not being able to do much for two weeks, I got sick of being inside during the last days of summer. I was feeling a bit better but not 100%, so I took my cane along. And guess what? No one cared! It actually started a lovely conversation with an employee at the art center about her walker (which she didn't have with her). She saw my cane and said "I need to put stickers on my walker." 😊 Besties (with love): people who do not need mobility aids do not think about using mobility aids. BTW I don't love this style of cane for me, and will be getting a stick style/ foldable one when I can. feel free to drop your recs. (a neowalk stick would be the dream but that isn't in the budget. ✨️ MRI day ✨️ I did one of these when I had an endoscopy and people found it comforting, so... here is, as DJ Khaled would say, anotha one. Different facilities have different protocols, but one thing remains true: NO METAL - did you know that now includes that trendy shiny (chrome-like) nail polish 😮 This was my 5th MRI this year alone, so ask away!
