Let’s talk about my quiet toy bin! 🤫🧸 I LOVE having quiet toys ready to go in my speech room! My students know that when they come in, they can grab a quiet toy to keep their hands busy while they’re waiting for their turn. These are especially helpful for my students who have a hard time waiting, need something in their hands, or just benefit from having something to look at or play with while I’m working directly with another student. The key word is QUIET…these aren’t toys that take over the session or become a distraction. They’re simple things students can play with independently and easily put down when it’s their turn!
