After she asked her husband for a divorce, the situation inside their home turned terrifying. Her husband pulled out a gun, and when their teenage son tried to step in to protect his mother, she pushed him out of the way. She was shot in the arm, but the attack didn’t stop there. Her husband stood over her and attempted to shoot her in the head, but missed. Meanwhile, their neighbor rushed into the home after hearing what was happening and tried to intervene. She survived the shooting and later shared her story publicly. #TrueCrime #crimejunkie #domesticabuseawareness #domesticviolenceawareness #blacktiktok
Jordan Wheeler, 33, was killed on October 19, 2023, at the Clinton Township, Michigan, home of her estranged husband, Steven Bryce Wheeler. The couple was separating. According to reporting on the trial, Jordan went to the house after one of their children called her about Steven’s behavior. Their two children were at the home. Jordan called 911 during an altercation and told the dispatcher Steven was assaulting her. While she was still on the call, Steven shot her five times in the head. The 911 recording and testimony from one of their children were presented at trial. A jury convicted Steven of first-degree premeditated murder and felony firearm in January 2025. On February 26, 2025, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole, with a two-year firearm sentence to be served first. #JordanWheeler #JusticeForJordanWheeler #TrueCrimeTikTok #DomesticViolenceAwareness #BeyondTheCase
On January 21, 2013, Las Vegas police lieutenant Hans Walters shot and killed his wife, Kathryn Michelle Walters, and their 5-year-old son, Max, inside their Nevada home. Max was watching cartoons when his father shot him. Hans then set parts of the house on fire and called 911. He told the dispatcher he had killed his family and claimed he killed Michelle because she was living with chronic neck and back pain. He also threatened to shoot firefighters if they tried to stop the fire. As police responded, Hans shot himself. Michelle’s pain was the explanation Hans gave. It does not explain why he took Max’s life, too. What do you make of what Hans said on that call? #TrueCrime #TrueCrimeTikTok #HansWalters #crimejunkie #BeyondTheCase
