Many people claim that unilateral training is superior than bilateral training. Which is not really the whole image Many dircet outcomes show simmilar hypertrophy. Why? Despite some studies showing that unilateral movements may help to increase Motor unit recruitment simply You are looking at flawed studies. Using proxies of MUR such as VA and emg (emg done without decomposition), because it mixes firing rates and mur into a big soup so lower firing less emg signal so many people say less emg = less Motor unit recruitment Which is firing rates changing in disguise Not Motor unit recruitment! The type of study you are looking at matters more than you thought previously before reading those words. I know this post is VERY confusing because truly.. there is no reliable method or way of calculating indirect volume please take the info in the post as lightly as possible. Fractional volume can be used in a multitude of ways such as gaguing fatigue, stimulus, and stimulus for different muscle regions Please note that advanced people the more they get advanced they may need to be more specific People to follow : @Kyev @Matt Maddox @Reshape Academy (thanks for the help reshape academy) @Coach Aaron @Biomechanics Centre @thesciencebasedlifter @physnerdandrew @Powerlifter - Nathan Kulas @TNF (thank u tnf) @Raf Training @SblBazin @Juan Samudio @Dan the Hypertrophy Man @enzohypertrophy

Hypertrophy and strength have been so much of a debate right now. And i am dissapointed in how people keep denying pluasible data or not be speciffic in their claims such as sarcoplasmic hypertrophy being regarded as swelling sometimes by some creators, while it is a legit adaptation and it is also legit hypertrophy. Each extra set yeilds a gain in hypertrophy and strength, by this we know that even if there is diminished strength gain due to neural factors there are still myofibers being built as they stated it is diminished not a hard wall and the data states each set has an effect size. This post is by no means a way to justify doing a ridiclous amount of sets or anything this is to simply explain the findings. In future posts i will explain this post alongisde the newer one to give you a realistic expectation of how much volume may be doable. Also sorry TNF @TNF People to follow : @Reshape Academy @Kyev @Matt Maddox @Coach Aaron @Biomechanics Centre @thesciencebasedlifter @physnerdandrew @Powerlifter - Nathan Kulas @Raf Training @Dan the Hypertrophy Man @enzohypertrophy @jae 🕴️ @Juan Samudio @Preston @Quinton
