Welcome back to guessing if it is a thirst trap or not! Hitting the Back and Legs today! I've started to focus on getting these to a more "work from home workout" sort of routine, so each day is split into two major muscles groups (with the exception of core). They each take maybe 15 - 20 minutes so that you can fit them into your break time at work, or just knock em out when it is slow. If you want the full detail for each day, have fun trying to copy and paste this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rtIYNeAL7V3T81IkiffkSu4ji32QWbN6eoOIVOeDEnY/edit?tab=t.0 #homeworkout #fitnessjourney #20minuteworkout #athomelegworkout #athomebackworkout
@somernickole Nothing irritates me more than the incredibly false assumption that atheists somehow actively try not to understand the Bible, when in fact, we run circles around people who are supposed to know it best. Many of us have spent years studying scripture, its historical context, its contradictions, and the scholarship surrounding its origins. The difference is that we don't approach the text with the assumption that it has to be true, so we're free to follow the evidence wherever it leads. The refusal to engage with that is proof that you live inside of a Dogma and do not have the ability to consider anything out side of what you are taught. #exchristian #exevangelical #deconstruction #recoveringfromreligion #athiest
@jeff_thun I thought you would engage with the argument, and your response boiled down to “nuh-uh, you're just stupid.” Bravo, my friend. Bravo. But here's the actual problem, and I want other Christians to weigh in on this, too. Jeff argues that creationism can have multiple interpretations because people can interpret Scripture differently, incorporate scientific evidence into their beliefs, or read Genesis literally. But at what point do different interpretations become contradictory explanations designed to protect the same conclusion? Genetic evidence does not support the idea that all modern humans descended from just two individuals, or that humanity's ancestral population was reduced to only eight people. Our genetic diversity and population history point to a much larger ancestral population. You cannot appeal to science when you think it supports your interpretation, dismiss it when it doesn't, and then claim every contradictory interpretation is equally valid. And apparently, pointing out that contradiction makes me stupid. So here's my question for the Christians in the comments: If two interpretations of Genesis contradict each other, can they both be true? And if scientific evidence contradicts a literal interpretation, what would convince you to reconsider it? I'm genuinely interested in the answer. #exchristian #exevangelical #deconstruction #recoveringfromreligion #atheist #antitheist #christianscience
