Day 3 of the Stage Management Summer School at Guildhall Although I already have experience working with prompt books and calling shows, this approach was quite different from what I’m used to. The level of detail in the prompt book and the way blocking is documented is much more extensive, which made for a really interesting comparison. It’s fascinating to see how the same job can be approached in different ways #london #stagemanagament #summerschool #westend #myneighbourtotoro

Day 4 at the Stage Management Course! Today’s focus was calling cues to music, one of the most precise aspects in stage management. Every cue depends on careful timing, active listening, and clear communication to keep a performance running seamlessly. Stay tuned for the final day! #london #stagemanagament #summerschool #deputystagemanager #showcaller

Day 5 – the final day at the Stage Management Summer School at Guildhall. 🎭 We ended the week by putting everything we’d learned into practice, rotating through the roles of Stage Manager, Deputy Stage Manager, and Assistant Stage Manager during a live rehearsal. A great week filled with new perspectives, valuable conversations, and a reminder that there’s always something new to learn. We wrapped it all up with a well-earned drink. 🥂 #london #stagemanagament #summerschool #deputystagemanager #showcaller
