i’ve never completed a 30 day painting challenge or even a 7 day one, but i’ve been making art steadily since i turned 30 (almost 8 yr now). i was almost 25 and married to a guy i'd been with since i was a teenager. i went out to coffee with danielle - we talked for four hours, and hung out every day for next two months. my then-husband and i went on a walk, it was summer solstice 2011 and the sun was finally setting. he said he'd never really seen me in love until he saw me with danielle. i suddenly knew he was right. everything changed.
