Fall is the perfect time to give your thin, fine hair a little break. 🍂 I tried this 16” Burmese half wig from @iseehairbeauty and I love that you can make it as protective as you want. I only left out a small amount of my natural hair, I put my hair in a ponytail but you have the option to braid the rest down, removed the combs and sew it down so there’s less pulling and friction on your hair. Now, if the combs don’t bother you, you can absolutely keep them in and use the combs + drawstring for a quick install. This is such a good fall protective option, especially if you’re growing your hair out and want that transition from short hair to a cute shoulder-length look without manipulating your natural hair every day. Protect the hair underneath and still switch the look up. Let’s dig into the archives and bring some of these old tutorials back because some of these styles are still good ideas for protecting your hair going into the fall. For this look I used Curlkalon’s alkaline-free crochet hair: 2 packs of Toni Curl 10” 3 packs of Carrie Curl 10” and 1 box of Carrie Curl 20” The foundation is completely braidless. I sectioned my hair and put each section into ponytails, then installed the crochet hair from there. You can also add a hair net over the foundation if you want a little more security.
