🔥 WE DON’T ALWAYS GET TO COMPETE… 🔥 When you spend most of your time organising and hosting BBQ competitions, you don’t always get the chance to step onto the other side of the judging table and actually compete. But this past weekend at the Rusty Rhino - Conservation BBQ Competition, a number of the SAFSMA directors, fellow competition organisers and a few other brave souls fired up their smokers and went head-to-head for some serious BBQ bragging rights! 🔥🥩🏆 And I’m pretty chuffed with how it went… 🥇 1st Place – Chicken 🥈 2nd Place – Overall Not a bad day behind the smoker! 😎🔥 South Africa’s competition BBQ scene is growing, and whether you want to compete, improve your BBQ skills, attend training, learn more about smoking meat, or simply hang around people who are as obsessed with fire and meat as we are - there’s plenty more coming. 👉 Follow BraaiBoy and SAFSMA to keep up with upcoming BBQ competitions, training, events, tips and everything happening in the world of BBQ in South Africa. Maybe we’ll see YOU behind a competition smoker next! 🔥 #BraaiBoy #SAFSMA #RustyRhino #CompetitionBBQ #BBQSouthAfrica
