Meet Mateo + Nolan 💛🥇 I’ve been sitting on this beautiful cover for MONTHS & I cannot believe I finally get to share it with you. YOU’RE SO GOLDEN brings together two huge pieces of my life…a former track & field athlete & photojournalist…& turns them into one big, swoony, sexy queer love story on the world’s biggest stage. & this cover somehow captures all of it. The track, the stadium, the golden light. Two men on the world’s biggest stage, surrounded by cameras, expectations & noise…& somehow completely lost in each other. THAT is this book. & KLEO!!! I handed this brilliant human a truly HORRIBLE sketch on a sticky note & somehow she turned my scribbles into this absolute magic. The movement! The kiss! The uniform grab! THE LIGHT! I could cry thinking about how beautifully she brought my boys to life. YOU ARE A DREAM TO WORK WITH ILY!!! So yes, come for the biceps & bulges 🥵 But I hope you stay for the queer joy, political pressure on journalists, questions of who gets to play sports, athletes refusing to stay in their lane to make others comfortable…& two men falling stupidly, inconveniently, spectacularly in love through all of it. Some moments win medals. Others change everything. YOU’RE SO GOLDEN published JUNE 15, 2027 & is available for preorder now! I cannot wait to take you to the Games 💛 xx Chip #bookcover #mmromance #sportsromance #mlm #trackandfield @Putnam Books @Penguin Random House
