Every letter in this piece was individually printed from imagery taken from different Bela Lugosi movie posters, then brought together to spell out LUGOSI. Layered, pasted, distressed, and sealed by hand, each letter carries a little piece of classic horror history. Created by the designer and other half of Bones In Black, @youkilledmefirst, this is a love letter to the legendary Bela Lugosi, vintage horror, and the art of making something new from pieces of the past. There’s something special about taking fragments of the films that made someone a legend and turning them into a piece of art of their own. 🦇 And for anyone who feels a connection to the man behind the legend… this piece is available if it speaks to you. @You Killed Me First #BelaLugosi #ClassicHorror #HorrorArt #GothicArt #BonesInBlack

Faster Pussycat was part of my musical world long before I became a baby bat. 🖤 Looking back at the glam and sleaze scene of the '90s, I can appreciate how much it influenced me while also seeing parts of that culture very differently than I did at 11 years old. It's fascinating to think about how the music I grew up with evolved, how my own tastes changed, and how those worlds eventually collided in the LA goth, glam and rock n roll scene. Did you have a band that helped lead you from one musical world into another? I'd love to hear your story.
