Our new single & video Additional Driver featuring @Declan McKenna is out now!   Last year we went writing in Wales and invited Declan. I brought up a small bump I had in the car outside the Apollo, the previous week before the session. A vocal take in the hot tub later we had finished writing what would become ‘Additional Driver’. We knew we wanted to try it out for the album so we invited Declan to Tilehouse when we were recording the album.   For the video we thought the only option was to recreate it at the Apollo.   It’s become a favourite of ours and I hope you like it as much as we do. And remember… should’ve got the 192! X #newsingle #declanmckenna #newalbum #blossomsband #car

Our 6th album, Songs From The Wedding Cake, is out October 2nd + we've announced an Autumn UK arena tour including Manchester Co-op Live and London's Alexandra Palace with special guests The Royston Club! Pre-order the album from the link in our bio for exclusive ticket pre-sale access. What an absolute joy this record was to make. Written and recorded over the last year, it's a collection of songs about what might seem like ordinary moments, viewed through an extraordinary lens... joking about divorce, hire cars, crying at the Kardashians, Wikipedia rabbit holes, trips to The Range, falling asleep in a taxi, your arm going numb because someone's asleep on it, the 192, being an additional driver on your wife's insurance and losing her 20 years' no-claims bonus (ffs), dancing in the kitchen to Grease, crying at videos of dogs on Instagram, picking up parquet flooring, saying the wrong thing, growing older together... you get the idea. We worked with some wonderful people who helped make these songs extraordinary (at least to us). Shawn Lee on production duties, bringing our songs to life and recording everything live to tape. You were a total joy to work with. Luke Oldfield and Tilehouse Stuios provided the perfect backdrop and dream studio to make this record. @Natalie and Jules Apollinaire co-wrote 'Meet Me In Love' and 'Guts' with us in the Lakes — "remember to vibe" and vibe we did. @Declan McKenna co-wrote 'Additional Driver' with us. So much fun. Long live the hot tub (sorry @cmat , we took Declan to the hot tub too). If you listen closely, you might hear some friends sprinkled in there... @Rick Astley Elijah Hewson @Inhaler. Album cover by Sam Nicklin, you brought our idea to life and absolutely nailed it. (Yes, that is us 3D printed as little figures on the cake.) Big up @jamesbuckley for doing the wedding vid for us, couldn’t think of anyone better to do it! Can’t wait for you to hear it. Blossoms X #newalbum #blossoms #newmusic #tour #album
