Removing protections for LGBTQ+ and making us less visible won’t stop us from existing or new LGBTQ+ people being born. We will endure. We will survive no matter what, but right now we have to stand firm and hold on to the rights we have today, we have to raise each other up and stand together. #LGBTQ #TRANS #BEAR #GAY #LESBIAN #BI #HUMANRIGHTS

When there’s so much fear and anxiety in the world. We need to counteract it by spreading the opposite, we need hope, love & community so that folk can have the belief they can stand up for themselves. #showsomelove

My feed has been blowing up with posts about Martin Auer’s new bakery in New York called RYE, which sells a very common bread in Austria and the Americans have been losing their minds over it. You can buy this bread (called Roggenbrot) all over Austria, so I popped down to my local @Ströck Brot GmbH and picked up a loaf. I had it on its own and with different topping, chives and butter was actually super tasty, the sour cream, smoked salmon and caviar was devine. The bread itself was very tasty and at €8 much cheaper than the $60 you have to pay in NYC for the same bread. I knew it would be lovely as Ströck’s breads are always good, bad bakeries don’t exist in Austria to be fair. It’s nice and worth trying but more as a base for an open sandwich rather than on its own. #RyeMartinAuer #Sourdough #NYCBakery #austrianbread #stroeck
