🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — 9/11/2001 🇺🇸 Around 20:00 last night, Assistant Chief Leon Whaley-Blake and Firefighter Travis Stone of Sparta Fire & Rescue took the time to climb 110 flights of stairs on a stair climber in honor of the 343 firefighters, first responders, law enforcement officers, and all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Every step was a reminder of the sacrifice, courage, and dedication shown by the heroes who ran toward danger while others were running away. We climb for those who never came home. We climb for their families. We climb to honor their sacrifice. We climb so that their memory will never fade. 110 flights. 343 heroes. One promise: NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸 Sparta Fire & Rescue — Station 71 Bell County, Texas September 11, 2001 — We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget. 🇺🇸
