The great Bogong moth migration is underway! Right now, thousands of Bogong moths are making their incredible annual journey south, travelling from inland breeding grounds towards the Australian Alps, where they’ll shelter through the warmer months. Bogong moths are endangered, so please don’t spray, harm or unnecessarily disturb them. These remarkable little travellers are important pollinators and a vital food source for many native animals, including the endangered Mountain Pygmy-possum. If you see any moths around your home, please give them some space and let them continue their extraordinary journey! • • • • #bogongmoth #moth #invertebrate #wildlife #animalfacts

In celebration of my very first Father’s Day, I’d like to introduce you to baby Kaia! Kaia has already begun her traineeship at the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, and I think she might have inherited my love for Australian wildlife. There’s something pretty special about bringing your child into a place that means so much to you, and imagining all the memories we’ll make here together over the years. ❤️ Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there! • • • • #fathersday #dad #baby #cutebaby #wildlife
