It’s wild how easy it is to take your own city for granted—even in a place as beautiful as Hawaii. Sometimes we get so caught up in routine, we forget to actually enjoy what’s right around us. This week, I’m challenging myself (and you) to be a tourist in our own city. Hit a local park, try a new hike, or just wander a neighborhood you’ve never explored. Let’s find the beauty in our own backyard—who’s in? Drop your favorite local spot or a spot you’ve always wanted to go to in your city. Tag a friend to join the challenge! #ExploreLocal #HometownTourist #QualityLiving

You’re not bad at ads—you’re just not testing enough. I’ve run a lot of campaigns, and the winners weren’t always pretty. Wanna see one of the best performing ads I ever ran? It wasn’t overproduced, didn’t have a celebrity in it. It was a shaky bathroom clip for a cleanse product. Another test? Same footage twice—polished on‑camera with the business owner speaking vs. a simple voiceover. The voice over smoked it. Lesson: polish doesn’t equal profit. Clarity, pace, and “feels human” do. Stop guessing. Create two versions, launch both, keep the winner, kill the rest. Then repeat and build on the winners. If you do want to start running ads or need some help, hit me up! #QualityOverNoise #Q4Blitz #StoryDrivenAds #MarketingTips #ContentStrategy

I finally did it. I set time aside last night and jumped into the world of AI music. This has been on my list to do for a while but I pushed it aside for a while. I wasn’t scared, more hesitant because I grew up with a passion of music and it is something that’s almost magical. After listening to over 50 songs made by AI on Suno, this is what I thought: Side A — the upside To explain easily how it works, just like typing a prompt into Chat GPT, you can do the same in Suno. You can write what kind of song you want to write, the vibe, what instruments you want, you can even upload unfinished lyrics or recordings and then Suno will make your song from scratch. It’s pretty powerful but how was the music? Technically, the music recordings were impressive. Tight drums, warm bass, horns that sound real. The electric guitar tones on some of the recordings were so good, it felt like I’ve been chasing those tones through pedals and guitar amps my whole life. I was also very impressed the melodies of some of the songs. You can tell that Suno has been training on a LOT of music because some songs were so catchy it seemed like a Berkeley Professor with a masters in songwriting and hooks wrote some of the songs. Side B — the downside Music is special to my heart and I love to feeling and connection I feel with good music. I love the passionate singing and when a band is all locked in together, there is this feeling that’s hard to describe. After 50 tracks, I felt almost nothing. The mixes were perfect, but there was no soul in 49 of the 50 songs I heard. Another downside was the lyrics of the songs. Have you ever got an email from someone who used AI and it makes you feel weird like “a regular person wouldn’t say this?” The lyrics of a lot of these songs felt “almost human,” and the songs lacked dynamics, tension, and surprise. No goosebumps. No “where did THAT come from?” moment. I do have to remember, for the songs I listened to, I don’t know the experience of the person who made the songs. So I am very curious when masters at production start using these tools. Can Timbaland make me feel something with his new AI music project? Overall, it was a very inspiring experience for me. AI music is going to flood the world with more music that we can handle just like it has with content and ads. But there will always be a place for amazing musicians that make you feel something. Music isn’t structure… It’s soul… #AImusic, #thoughtsaboutAI #Sunomusicreview #whatsSuno #aiinmusic
