We have a show this weekend with my bro @Trey McLaughlin and this particular song never really had a set format or arrangement outside of the YouTube cover we did. But for me, music is supposed to tell a story. I don’t play bass just for the other musicians on stage — I’m trying to evoke an emotion from the crowd, no matter the genre. From choosing a certain drum pattern, to picking the chords on guitar instead of strumming them, every decision should help tell that story. At the same time, I want the guys to have room to tell THEIR story too. I never want an arrangement to box anybody in. Give everybody direction, but still leave space for them to be themselves. That’s probably one of my favorite parts about arranging music… Hearing something in my head and then watching it come to life. 🎶🔥 #fyp #bassplayer #treymclaughlin

Man, what a moment! 🔥🎸 Had the honor of holding down the low end with the legendary Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony! 🙌🏾 Being able to bring these timeless classics to life alongside someone who helped shape an entire era of hip-hop is something special. Some songs never get old, and some moments you never forget! 💯 Legends make history. The music keeps it alive. 🐐🔥 #LayzieBone #BoneThugsNHarmony #fyp #BassPlayer #HipHopLegends
