What’s it really like running a mile a day from a Day 10 perspective? One mile doesn’t sound like a lot. Some mornings I wake up excited to do it. Other mornings, my body doesn’t feel ready. Some miles are slow. Some are fast. And some days I’m running more than a mile because I’m still keeping up with the workouts I would normally be doing on top of this challenge. But every morning, when I finish that mile, I’m glad I showed up. I think that’s one of the biggest things these 10 days have reminded me: consistency doesn’t mean every day feels good or every mile looks the same. Sometimes consistency is simply showing up and doing what you said you were going to do. Today is Day 10 of running a mile a day for every person who donates toward my loose skin surgery. Today’s mile is for Claude. Thank you for helping me keep building. If you’d like to donate and give me another mile to run, the link is in my bio. #MileADay #RunningTikTok #Consistency #WeightLossJourney #LooseSkinJourney

Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is change the pace. For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been running a mile every day for everyone who has donated toward my loose skin surgery. And I’m still doing it. But this weekend I needed a break from filming it. Running a mile and creating a video about that mile are two completely different things. I realized I just wanted to run. No setting up a camera. No thinking about content. Just put on my shoes, get my mile done, and enjoy it. And I wanted some time for the other things I love too. I played tennis. I decorated for fall. I went hiking and visited the Heart of the Forest. I spent time enjoying my home and my life. Of course I still took pictures because I’m always going to document my life. But there’s a difference between taking a picture because I want to remember something and feeling like I need to turn every moment into content. Three days. Three more miles. The goal never changed. Mile 11 — Melissa M. Mile 12 — Ginger F. Mile 13 — Amber G. Thank you Melissa, Ginger, and Amber for supporting me and being part of this journey. I may have taken a break from filming, but I didn’t take a break from the promise I made. I just changed the pace. Sometimes consistency isn’t about doing more. Sometimes it’s knowing when you need to do things a little differently so you can keep going. #MileADay #RunningTikTok #Consistency #WeightLossJourney

Day 30 of running a mile a day for everyone who donates for my loose skin surgery. Hard to believe it's been 30 days. During those 30 days I've noticed some changes in my runs from my vo2max getting higher and my heart rate getting lower. I want to thank everyone who have donated, shared my GoFundMe link, or gave me stuff to sell each of those things have gotten me closer to my goal. Right now I'm at 4,238 out of my 7000 I need for surgery. #RunningTok #FitnessJourney #WeightLossJourney #looseskinsurgery #fyp
