7 HARMFUL THINGS WHITE PEOPLE DO TO BLACK PEOPLE - PART 1 Welcome to my new series where I say exactly what you need to hear, but you might not want to hear! But first… Here’s what I did NOT say in the video: ❌ Being prejudiced towards white people is okay. ❌ Saying you hate white people is okay. ❌ Telling your children that white people are bad or ugly is okay. NONE OF THAT IS OKAY, AND I AM NOT CONDONING IT. Now that we got that out of the way… ✔️Comparing prejudice to systemic racism is a false equivalence. Stop doing that. ✔️Saying that Black people hate white people because of slavery, based on some videos you saw on social media is ignorant. Stop doing that. ✔️Not using your critical thinking skills when discussing the complexities and generational trauma of systemic and anti-Black racism is a display of cultural incompetence. Stop doing that. This behavior is exhausting, harmful, erodes trust, and furthers division between Black people and white people. It’s time to do better. Learn how to overcome your discomfort around racism, so that you can stop responding and reacting in harmful ways, and start responding in healthy ways that promote trust and unity, in my new 7-Day Challenge on Patreon! Link to join is on my profile. Anti-racism is not a diet, it’s a lifestyle.™️ #antiracismschoolisinsession #learnontiktok #edutok #tiktoklearningcampaign #patreoncreator

7 HARMFUL THINGS WHITE PEOPLE DO TO BLACK PEOPLE (and how to avoid them) - PART 2 Welcome back to my new series on harmful behaviors white people often exhibit towards Black people. The harmful behavior I’m sharing today is so common amongst white people that it’s also become a red flag for Black people. I’m reading a covertly racist comment from my last video, and explaining why it’s not the flex so many white people think it is. Friendly Reminder: Having Black loved ones doesn't make you immune to holding racist beliefs and ideologies, just like having women in your life doesn't automatically make a man safe, non-sexist, or not a misogynist. If you are a caring and compassionate person, who desires to be an active part of the solution in the fight against racism (not a passive part of the problem), join my seven-day challenge on Patreon! My “Overcoming Discomfort Around Racism 7-Day Challenge” will teach you seven different strategies and tactics to help you overcome or manage your discomfort around racism (and other forms of systemic abuse and oppression), so that you can manage your discomfort in healthy ways, and become a safe person for Black people. Join now at the link on my profile. I need your help to continue posting free, educational videos on social media! 7 HARMFUL THINGS WHITE PEOPLE DO TO BLACK PEOPLE (and how to avoid them) - PART 3 I’ve literally been saying the same things in my daily anti-racism education videos for almost SEVEN YEARS!! My message remains the same, and you will not be able to shut me up, simply because what I’m saying makes you uncomfortable. One thing you’ll notice in my videos, which is very different from the racist, abusive, evil, and harassing comments I get from racists on my videos is that, I’m not in here calling you inherently evil, a bad person, or being rude and disrespectful to you (like a lot of y’all do to me in my comments). I’m simply saying, you’ve been taught some harmful things by growing up in a racist society, and being in the group that was chosen to be at the top of this stupid racial hierarchy/racial caste system that we have here in the U.S. So it behooves you to become aware of the harmful ways you’ve been influenced and programmed by our society, as a white person, so that you can start unlearning it, and become an active part of the solution in the fight against anti-Black and systemic racism. That’s it!
