I’m still thinking of the honesty in these works by the brilliant Pakistani- American painter Salman Toor. Someone like You is now showing @Courtauld. Tender, honest and queer in the least performative way. Paintings like these are hard to find, and maybe there is something poetic about the fact that there is a Manet just a few steps from them. But that’s not what this video is about ✨ let me know what you thin. . A small but mighty show. 🎟️ £16 . On until 10 Jan 2027 . . . #artexhibition #artgallery #contemporaryart #londonart #arttiktok

Had a conversation where there was a passing joke about older black people being afraid of dogs 😫 and ofcourse this led me into some sort of rabbit hole… here is a bit of what I found. . . . #arthistory #dogsotiktok #africanlore #cultural #edutok

Coming across Ayo Adeyinka’s post just made me stop a little as the 1% economist in me was intrigued. Although I speak a lot about price but that doesn’t translate to value. Ben Enwonwu is an amazing artist and it is interesting how his valuation is different from his peers like Henry Moore. . . . #contemporaryart #sculpture #edutok #africanart #artmarket
