The Amref Health Innovation Hub is officially launched. At the ongoing 2026 Africa Health Collaborative (AHC) Annual Convening, key Amref and health leaders led the ceremony to launch the Health Innovation Hub at Amref International University (AMIU). The Amref Health Innovation Hub exists to support the venture founders turning health ideas into real ventures. Through structured mentorship, practical guidance and exposure, it supports health entrepreneurs to build solutions that respond to real health and community needs, and connects their work to Amrefs and AMIUs wider commitment to stronger health systems across Africa. This launch is a statement of intent: innovation is a pathway to better health outcomes, and African founders are central to it.
