Fresh baguettes at home are WAY easier than you think. 🥖 And with fall right around the corner, who doesn’t want the smell of fresh bread filling the kitchen? These Fast French Baguettes use just FOUR ingredients, and there’s no sourdough starter or overnight fermentation required. They’re perfect alongside soup, sliced in half for sandwiches, served with butter and jam, or honestly just torn apart and eaten warm from the oven. Save this one for your fall baking list. 🤎 Fast French Baguettes Makes 4 mini baguettes or 2 standard baguettes What You’ll Need • 500g bread flour • 350g warm water (100–110°F) • 10g salt • 10g instant yeast Stand Mixer Method 1. Add the warm water, yeast, flour, and salt to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook. 2. Mix on low for about 1 minute, until a shaggy dough forms. 3. Increase to medium-low and knead for 4–5 minutes, until the dough is smooth, elastic, and pulling away from the sides of the bowl. 4. Transfer to a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 60–90 minutes. By Hand Method 1. Combine the warm water, yeast, flour, and salt in a large bowl. 2. Stir until a shaggy dough forms and no dry flour remains. 3. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. 4. Place in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 60–90 minutes. Shape + Bake 1. Divide the dough into 4 pieces for mini baguettes or 2 for standard baguettes. 2. Shape each into a rough log, cover, and rest for 10 minutes. 3. Flatten into a rectangle. Fold the top third toward the center and press to seal, then fold the bottom third up and seal. Roll into a baguette shape. 4. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover lightly, and rise for 30–45 minutes, until puffy. 5. Preheat the oven to 475°F. If using a pizza stone, preheat it with the oven. 6. Score each baguette with 3–4 diagonal slashes. 7. Bake mini baguettes for 18–22 minutes or standard baguettes for 20–25 minutes, until deeply golden and 200–205°F internally. 8. Cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing. A little bread-making reminder: Proofing times are based on a 68–72°F kitchen. A warm kitchen or proofing box can make things move much faster, so watch the dough, not the clock. Save this recipe because soup season is coming. 🥖🍲🍂 #BreadRecipe #HomemadeBread #BaguetteRecipe #FallBaking #easybreadrecipe

Fall baking season is officially here 🍎🍂 And if you want your kitchen to smell like apple pie without actually making a pie, these Caramel Apple Pie Cookies are it. They’re packed with apple butter, warm fall spices, freeze-dried apples, and little pockets of caramel. Basically everything I want in a September cookie. Save this one for your next cozy baking day. 🤎 CARAMEL APPLE PIE COOKIES Makes about 16 large cookies What You’ll Need 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled 1 cup packed light brown sugar ½ cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract ⅓ cup apple butter 3 cups + 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp baking powder ¾ tsp salt 1½ tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp nutmeg ⅛ tsp ground ginger ⅛ tsp allspice or cloves ¾ cup chopped freeze-dried apples ¾ cup caramel bits How to Make Them 1. Melt the butter and let it cool for 10–15 minutes. 2. Mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined. 3. Mix in the eggs, vanilla, and apple butter. 4. Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice or cloves. Mix just until combined. 5. Fold in the freeze-dried apples and caramel bits. 6. Scoop into about 16 large cookie dough balls. Press a few extra apple pieces and caramel bits into the tops if you want them extra pretty. 7. Chill the dough before baking. 8. Bake using your usual large-cookie method until the edges are set and the centers are still soft. Let them cool on the baking sheet for several minutes before moving. Apple pie flavor, gooey caramel, and a giant bakery-style cookie. I think this might be one of my favorite ways to kick off fall baking. 🍎🍪 #FallBaking #CaramelApple #CookieRecipe #AppleCookies #homebaking
