This was pretty awesome. I got to be a part of the 250th celebration with AKC in Philadelphia. We were chosen by a lottery system to compete and divided up in teams. It was such a surreal event and I was chosen for an interview about my bond with Lane. I love being able to share that you can over come the mountains that are placed before you. Of course, we interviewd after we had practiced all day 😂 so dog sport mode for sure. I had such an amazing support group through my journey and at my event. My husband surprised me. My mom, aunt and cousin were there as well. We may have gotten knocked out pretty quick, but we loved every minute of it. Anytime spent with my best boy, is the best day in my book. @American Kennel Club #ependymomaawareness #spinalcordtumor #germanshorthairedpointer #espn #heylookmaimadeit

Just an elder millennial living my childhood dream of a pool and dogs. Younger me would be blown away at how we ended up. Might not have been a marine biologist, but I can’t complain. #dogdaysofsummer #eldermillennial #birddogs #spinalcordinjuryrecovery #livingthebestlife

When the human gets sick of plucking your frisbee off the pool floor. And told you repeatedly not to drop it over the edge 🙄 He’s accepting donations for lawyer but you bet I left that in the bottom of the pool. Not mention I brought out an entire tote bag of toys. I had to take the tote bag away repeatedly #germanshorthairpointer #hyperflexfrisbee #bullheaded #dogdaysofsummer
