Yesterday I visited the site to see the work up close. Right now, various teams are working as hard as they can, rebuilding bridges and roads damaged in the May storms. This is no easy feat: The rock fillers in these images slow water down during heavy rains protecting the structure. That detail is part of what will keep this bridge standing. This is for the residents who will cross it every day once it's done. We see your work, wherever it's happening in our province. Thank you.🙏 #GettingItDone #ForYou

The Western Cape Government has added more than 1,500 classrooms, including more than 20 new schools, to our provincial education system in the last four years. That is more than any other province, and is thanks to our pioneering Rapid School Build Programme. The R327.9 million Blueridge Campus is a shining example of what this programme has delivered. With both a primary and high school, sports halls and tech labs, this facility has created spaces for 2,360 learners. This story is told right across our province. We are investing in our young people to enable access to opportunities. Our growing province is at work. #GettingItDone #ForYou

Van Dyk Stene is a family-owned brick manufacturer in Vredenburg, Saldanha Bay, sustaining 135 jobs in Weskus. I visited their factory and saw a business built up over generations - the original brick-making machine, the one his father started the business with, still proudly stands in their front office, a mark of this business' family heritage. Since then they've mechanised production, and invested in modern machinery, designed and built by our own local engineers. This is what real growth looks like. Well done Van Dyk Stene!🤝
