built this as a prop for a music video. The monitor is running over S-Video from the GPU - anyone know why so many GPUs of that era supported composite and/or S-video? Was it so you could use a TV as a second monitor to save money? Was it for bouncing home videos down to tape? Some sort of early media PC idea? Idk always been curious about that... For those wondering about this build, the tower on the right which is running the show is an overkill Win98 build built from stuff rescued from the trash barring the monitor: Pentium 4 (3.06ghz), Motherboard: PTM800PRO LF, 1GB RAM, IBM KB7953 keyboard Nvidia GeForce MX440se (running S-Video out to the JVC Hi-Resolution PVM CRT monitor) . . . #pc #technology #musicproduction #electronicmusic #computer

Here’s a clip from the music video for the last track from my new split EP with Summer Night Air, “Algorithmic Sunsets”, which is OUT NOW on cassette and download on Halcyon Tapes and all streaming services - links in bio. This video was made with found footage (courtesy of summer night air), CGI material rendered and animated in Bryce pro and material made with a malfunctioning title genator alongside a live feed from a camcorder capturing the world outside the confines of the studio this was filmed in hope you folks enjoy it 🙂 . . . #electronicmusic #vaporwave #chill #technology #lofi
