My birthday always falls during summer break, so I usually don’t get to celebrate with my students. But this year, summer school gave me a little birthday gift. 🥹 Even though I teach 4th grade during the school year, I spent my summer with these incoming 3rd graders, and whew… third grade still has my heart. ❤️ So, of course, we had to celebrate! I brought cupcakes, we had a little birthday party, and my babies made my day extra special. 🎉🧁 I don’t know what it is about third grade, but I miss teaching it so much.
