10 minutes of doomscrolling < ten minutes of song writing Many of you know I love musical improv, so ten minutes to write something feels like an eternity! Took some time to work through the confusion I feel around the studies that have come out about the uptick in sepsis, infant death, and maternal mortality (which is up 53% in Texas folks) all in the name of “life.” I refuse to believe the God I was raised to believe in thinks forcing pregnant people to give birth is the biggest priority in our current climate. YEARS after leaving the church I’m back to do some bible thumping and flipping tables 📖 I kind of want to just start commenting “🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪” on Christian’s instagram posts- who’s with me??? “Matthew 19:23–24 – Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” #christianity #maga #trump #hypocrisy
