MY SKIN JOURNEY — THEN & NOW 💚 For around 2–3 years, I struggled badly with eczema. My hands became extremely dry and itchy, especially at night, and when it started affecting my face, it began affecting my confidence too. For a long time, I was focused on what I could put on my skin. Creams, shea butter and different things people recommended. But eventually, my journey made me start looking much deeper. I started looking at what I was eating, what I was feeling, what I was holding onto, how much access I was giving people to me, and how I was starting my days. I looked at my relationship with sugar and emotional eating. I learned to sit with emotions instead of constantly distracting myself. I worked on anger, shame, guilt, sadness and resentment. I learned about forgiveness, boundaries, protecting my energy and not always making myself available to everyone. Meditation, breathwork, stillness, nature and my morning routine became essential parts of my life. 🌿 I also became more intentional about nutrition, herbs, juicing and the botanical products I use as part of my personal wellbeing routine.
