I decided to go all out with LADS Bandz for DeepSpace Fest and then somehow made even MORE designs because apparently I do not know when to stop 😭 Who needs sleep? Also… FREE STL FILES!! Since these are freebies, I wanted the files to be free too. All the STL files are up on my Ko-fi, link on my page. Feel free to download them and print your own! For the DeepSpace Fest freebies, here’s how I’m doing the handout: * Each bag will mostly have designs from one LI * You won’t get every design for that LI in one bag. I want to make sure more people can get some. * Every bag will also include 1 random band from a different LI * Trade with other Hunters, hunt down your favorites, and see how many you can collect * Each slide shows all the designs available for that LI so you know what to look for. I wanted the freebies to feel like real Silly Bandz from back in the day, where trading was half the fun. Bring back the playground economy 😂 Follow me so you know what I’m wearing before the event. TPU can be a difficult filament to work with, so check your printer’s setup instructions ahead of time. Had such a fun little moment with Rafayel 🐟 I got to show him the 3D printed Silly Bandz I made for DeepSpace Fest and tell him a little about how I made them! Then he surprised me by saying he had something for me too and gave me one of his Silly Bandz. We spent a second trying to figure out what it was and eventually decided it had to be a seal 😂 I love that we basically ended up trading Silly Bandz. I was originally going to make a regular event recap Reel, but like any good creator, I definitely did not capture enough footage 😂 Always something to learn! So I had to think of another way to remember the day. Honestly, I am kind of glad I did. I took inspiration from the old magazines I grew up with like Seventeen, Cosmo, and Style. Then I rolled up my sleeves, put my newly learned Canva skills to work, and made my own little Deepspace Fest magazine Not gonna lie, this took WAY longer than I thought it would 😂 Once I started, I got way too invested in the whole magazine theme. It gave me so much inspiration and turned into such a fun way to journal the event, save some of my favorite memories, and show a little bit of what happened that day. Sometimes when one idea does not work out, you just have to find another way to tell the story. As always, I had the best time hanging out with friends and meeting new people. Exchanging freebies and freaking out over fictional men together made it even better. I wish I could tag every single person, especially everyone who gave me a freebie.
