First off, let me thank Thee Creator for giving me the vision and for giving me the will and ability to accomplish such an event as 816Day. Trust me, errbody can't do it. We were faced with obstacle after obstacle, but the way was already paved for us so nothing couldve stopped what was destined 😇 Secondly, to my most amazing team. And this aint just any team. These are a group of individuals I've met along my path who see not only something in me, but in the ultimate impact that this event can make. Each person reached out separately over the past 6 years to help however they could, and have all went over and beyond when it comes to putting this monster together. Not only do they have to deal with me and my many moods, but they've each took on their own piece of the project and have excelled exponentially. Jennifer Johnson Trace Parker Dee Moore De Barker Brittany Martin Deb O'Nair Shelle West and the new family Glenn Robinson & Deaunte Thomas, I am forever grateful for you all. Love yall 🥰 To all the vendors, performers, city council, food trucks, djs, our volunteers, and my favorite host Cherayla Haynes, I can't thank you enough just for being a part of our celebration and helping to make it as great as it is. 🫡 And lastly, to the city of Kansas City... I appreciate you trusting and supporting me over the years. Also for just showing up and representing what 816Day is all a out. A WHOLE LOTTA KC LOVE!!! I am truly honored to call Kansas City home and look forward to making sure your experience at 816Day is always Bigger & Better!!! I don't do this for me, I do it for you!!! I'm debating on the color variations. Might throw an orange, yellow, or red out there too 🤔 But we'll start with the Black and the White versions. Should have the first batch available in a couple weeks 🤞🏾 Will be available for pre-orders. #StayTuned #4TheLoveOfTheCity 🫶🏾 #4TheCulture ✊🏽 #816Day
