We picked up a new rescue today. . Yes, we had agreed not to pick up anymore rescues but after seeing the situation of the this current rescue we are hoping our sponsor (for some of our relocations) will forgive us for making this exception. . The guys who stopped us at one of our feeding stations were themselves very concerned about the kitten they were trying to keep warm during the night. Apparently, the mother of this kitten was run over by a trailer truck the day before. . When we got to their scrap yard, we were almost certain the kitten would be dead. The temperature had dropped to 14 degree in most parts of Sharjah last night, so how would a kitten as young as what they were describing survive without a mummy? When Taz picked the kitten out of the makeshift bed they had made for Rumi, she was shocked to see that his eyes were still opened, but the rest of his body was ice cold and stiff. His breathing was very shallow.  . Without a second thought, Taz unzipped her hoody and tucked the lifeless kitten inside her T-shirt. We needed to bring his temperature up quickly! Once we got to the car, we turned on the car’s heater, and Taz kept rubbing his body to get his blood moving. . After what seemed like an eternity, he slowly started to move his body and eventually let out a few cries. I keep asking him to keep crying. Crying was good at this point. . Our next feeding was in front of a grocery, so Taz went inside to buy some milk. We had the cafeteria beside the grocery heat the milk for us. Taz kept saying she would give the kitten milk, but how?  . Then, out of nowhere, she pulled a fresh 3ml syringe out of the glove box. Yaay! Some hope things may head in the right direction after all. Taz managed to feed him 3 syringes full, and then within minutes, we could see the kitten getting more active. Alhamdulillah. . We will continue to see how things go with little Rumi.  . #kittensofinstagram #catsofinstagram #rescuedcatsofinstagram #RescuedIsMyFavouriteBreed #rescuedismyfavoritebreed #adoptdontshop #adoptdonotshop #EveryLifeMatters #makingadifference #kitten #fosteringsaveslives #StrayByBirthNotByChoice #straycat #unitedarabemirates #orphanage

4 Deserving Paws is just 2 sisters picking up the sick, injured, abandoned, and orphaned strays from the streets. . We have a next to possible task of getting our #rescuedpuppies and their Mother Maya in to #Fosterhomes as soon as possible. . All puppies (Yogi ♂️, Nina ♀️, Carla ♀️) are negative for Parvo and Ehrlichia. . Mother and puppies were dewormed and treated for external and internal parasites. . Currently, our vet account is locked. The longer they stay at the clinic, the harder it is for us to pay the ever Increasing bills. . Mummy Maya would need to be in a home with no other dogs, cats, or children. She is only now coming out of her shell and gets excited to interact with humans. An experienced K9 family would be a #blessing for her emotional development and training. . Please share their story. . We sisters did not think twice when we saw the desperate state they were in. We now need your #support to give them a better life, filled with #love and, most importantly, cage free. They deserve it. . Please reach out to us if you can #foster one of the #puppies or their mother Maya. . #puppyofinstagram #DogsOfSharjahIndustrialArea #dogofinstagram #MansBestFriend #RescuedIsMyFavoriteBreed #RescuedIsMyFavouriteBreed #rescuedpuppyofinstagram #LoveIsARescuedPet #FosterHomeNeeded #FostersSaveLives #FosteringSavesLives #AdoptAStrayDog #AdoptDontShop #DogLover #EverylifeMatters #StrayDogOfSharjahIndustrialArea #animalwelfare #StrayByBirthNotByChoice #AdoptAPuppy #Puppy #Dog #vet #AdoptMe #PleaseAdoptMe #FosterMe
