At the beginning of September, Atlas and Egypt were picked up by Animal Control and held for 24 days. I was SO worried about them. 😭🐾 Thankfully, they were placed into a Working Cat Program, and something really good came out of a situation that scared me. 🐈‍⬛ Atlas was neutered, vaccinated, tested for feline diseases, and treated for his wound. And now… ATLAS IS FINALLY HOME! 🏡❤️ 🐈 Egypt has been battling an upper respiratory infection since she was a kitten. They treated her infection first, so she has to wait until she’s healthy enough to have her surgery. She’s getting the care she needs, and I’m patiently waiting for her to come home too. ❤️ And just to clarify—Atlas and Egypt are outdoor/feral cats. Atlas is completely feral. I am also extremely allergic to cats, so unfortunately bringing them inside my home is not an option. But being unable to bring them inside doesn’t mean they aren’t loved. ❤️ They chose my yard as their home, and I’m going to make sure they have a safe, warm, dry place of their own outside. So that’s my next mission: building Atlas & Egypt their very own outdoor cat house. 🏠🐾 Welcome home, Atlas. 🐈‍⬛❤️ We’re waiting for you, Egypt. 🐈❤️ #AtlasAndEgypt #WorkingCats #FeralCats #CatRescue #CatTok
