We started looking at houses recently. If this one didn’t smell like it was overrun by incontinent cats and hot wet dogs, and if I hadn’t poked my finger through what looked like a wet spot in the ceiling, this house may have been a winner. The garage has a built-in miter station and built-in, remote control dust collection system. I was curious why the woodworking set up was in the main garage and not in the outbuilding, until we opened up the outbuilding found that half of the trusses had separated, and the thing was going to fall over at any moment. Anyway, it was a no from us, dawg, but it had so much potential. #woodworking #househunting #garageshop #garage #woodshop

Whelp. We found a new home. And this 21x15 space will be my new workshop. Lots to do before we close and list our current home, but I’m excited to say the least. It has an epoxy-coated, radiant-heated floor that is going to be real nice in the Wisconsin winters. There’s also a panel on the other side of the wall with 220. Now I need to figure out how to transport my saw and get it through a 34” door. Might not have a lot of creating content over the next month, but lots of great stuff to come. #woodworking #workshop #woodshop #shiplap #maker
