Happy Wednesday from our feathered Fabio! If you guys can take a peek at @StaceyK page and help her out any little bit counts that would be wonderful too! I know we are all tight rn but I also know we take care of our flock. Love you all so much💙

Why am I showing this? Because birds are incredibly complicated and incredibly smart. Cockatoos are the number one rehomed species, sometimes because of situations like this-imagine trying to get anything done when the second you leave a room there’s straight up ear piercing screams and they’re completely unsettled. So many see the silly fun side but there’s so much that goes along with that! I’ve learned SO MUCH since meeting Cumulus, but I still make mistakes and try to learn from them too. My goal will always be his best interests, as with any bird I’m lucky to be around. He has come very far and these episodes aren’t nearly as often as they initially were, he also allows almost everyone in clinic to work with him now (except Sara😅) and I’m so proud of him! I know we will get him settled on this too💙#progress #behavior #avian

I don’t know if you can hear him whispering! Laura told him to stop and after a lil protest he started whispering instead! This bird is too smart!#sing #animals #birds #animalbehavior
